Jungaburra Brook Area 29 May 2024 Bill wanted to access a cliff ledge that he had spotted from the Jungaburra ledges. From Lawson Ridge To Wentworth Creek 22 May 2024 Ever obsessed with Wentworth Creek after a failed attempt the previous month, I proposed to reach it from Lawson Ridge. Two hardy souls joined me for the adventure and off we went along the Lawson Ridge Fire Trail. It took us about 90 minutes to reach the cliff line. Mount Hay Range Swamps 16 May 2024 A pleasant walk in the woods and the swamps! I even managed to get my feet mostly dry when crossing the many swamps (or is it the same big swamp?) we encountered in the area. The surprise were two waterfalls, one with grinding grooves. The swamps were teeming with flowers: banksia, button grass and pink swamp heath but no leeches! Another area to explore in the future!
Bald Head Ridge 12 May 2024 This was a short walk to Bald Head to celebrate Kate’s birthday! We never made it: a birthday cake materialised before we reached our goal and all good intentions were forgotten! The cake was a success: its mystery ingredient. had us talking for a while!
