ACCESS BY CAR
FROM KATOOMBA - PREFERRED

From the Great Western Highway, turn left into Parke St/Yeaman Bridge. Turn left at the roundaboutonto Bathurst Rod. Continue for about 250 m and turn right onto Lurline St.  Drive for 800 m and turn left onto Merriwa past the Katoomba RSL. Follow Merriwa Street which becomes Cliff Drive to Solitary Restaurant (90 Cliff Drive, Katoomba) and park there.

FROM LEURA

From the Great Western Highway, take the Leura Mall Exit towards Leura. Turn left into Leura Mall. Drive through Leura and turn right into Gordon Street. Park near the intersection of  Gordon Street and Jersey Avenue. Follow the track at the end of Gordon Street/Cliff Drive to the Picnic Area.

IF YOU MISS THE BUS OR WOULD RATHER WALK

Leura Train Station to Leura Cascades Picnic Area: 1.5 km one-way.

From Leura Train Station, make your way down Leura Mall. Turn right on Malvern Road and walk to the end of the street, to the track leading to Leura Picnic Area. The track ends on Cliff Drive near Chelmsford Bridge. At the end of the walk, return the same way.

FROM KATOOMBA
Take the train to Katoomba Train Station. Bus 686 will deliver you at the intersection of Lurline Street and Merriwa Street. Follow Merriwa Street as it becomes Cliff Drive for about 750 m to Solitary Restaurant.

Katoomba Train Station to Leura Cascades Picnic Area: 2.3 km one-way.

From Katoomba train station, exit south and continue on Katoomba Street. Turn left on Waratah Street then right onto Lurline Street. After 240 m turn left onto Merriwa St. Continue walking for about 750 m (Merriwa St become Cliff Drive) until you arrive to the Solitary Restaurant.
