Redledge Pass To Rockpile Pass

After some heavy rains in May, the Blue Mountains experienced several landslides, one of which to the west of Redledge Pass. We decided to check out the area and redo the walk we did two months ago.

The winds on Narrow Neck were cold and strong. We had decided that we would abort if the ledge was windy and gusty: it turned out to be sheltered for the most part!
After checking the logbook, three groups had been there since our last trip, we walked along the ledge enjoying the views. We passed the turn off down the Megalong Valley and continued to Rockpile Pass: there were no landslide!

We climbed out and took a different way out, checking a gully that might provide another way out! After fighting the dead banksias, we were back on the trail with time to spare!
